Services

Our aim is that all our worship should be dignified, accessible, friendly and recognisably within the mainstream of Anglican tradition. We particularly welcome visitors and children.

The main Sunday Eucharist is Common Worship Order 1 and Daily Prayer also uses Common Worship. Some services are according to the Book of Common Prayer. The regular pattern of Sunday service times across the benefice is:

Daily Morning Prayer - as said in one of the Street churches each morning (usually Amotherby on Monday, Barton on Tuesday, Slingsby on Wednesday, all at 9am and Hovingham on Thursday at 9.30am). If you can't be present, pray along with us using the Daily Prayer provided by the official Church of England web site.
