Supporting Us
All our churches are cared for and funded by local people. Apart from our part-time Priest-in-Charge, who covers 7 churches and 2 Methodist Chapels, all our work is undertaken by volunteers.
There is a common misconception that churches receive national funding. All our everyday work, our minister, our building costs, minor and major repairs are funded through regular giving by local people, local fundraising and, when possible, for larger items through applications to charitable grant-making bodies.
We are highly grateful for any support in times, skills or money that we receive.
Giving of Skills and Time
We are always looking for people who may be willing to assist with a raft of practical jobs, such as cleaning, gardening, hospitality, administration and fundraising, plus those who have specific skills which may be useful in caring for our historic churches.
Giving Financially
Each of our parishes have separate accounts. If you wish to make a donation, sign up for regular giving, or leave us a legacy, please contact the Church direct.
Generosity is one of the foundations of the Christian faith.
Our generosity is a response to the love and self-giving sacrifice
of God in Jesus Christ.
